Sculpt away stubborn fat, refine your curves, and enhance your shape using your body’s own natural volume.
You may want fuller, more balanced curves without placing a synthetic implant in your body. At the same time, you may have stubborn fat around your abdomen, waist, flanks, or thighs that refuses to respond to consistent exercise and healthy eating.
Fat transfer addresses both concerns in one personalized body-contouring procedure.
At N2U Aesthetics, fat is carefully removed from selected donor areas, processed, and transferred to areas where added volume can improve your proportions. It is a two-step process built around your own tissue rather than an implant.
The goal is not to give every patient the same exaggerated shape. It is to create a result that works with your anatomy, complements your frame, and still looks like you.
Wondering whether fat transfer or BBL fits your goals and your anatomy?
That conversation starts with a consultation.
Fat transfer, also called fat grafting or autologous fat transfer, is a cosmetic procedure that moves fat from one area of your body to another.
The procedure begins with liposuction. Fat is removed from a donor area such as the abdomen, waist, flanks, back, or thighs. The harvested fat is then purified and prepared before being carefully injected into the treatment area.
Because the transferred material comes from your own body, fat grafting can create soft, natural-feeling volume without relying on a synthetic implant.
Fat placement: Small amounts of prepared fat are strategically injected into the treatment area to build volume, improve symmetry, and refine contour.
Placement is performed gradually rather than as one large injection. This allows the provider to shape the area carefully while giving the transferred fat the best opportunity to establish a blood supply.
Not every transferred fat cell will survive. Some volume is naturally reabsorbed during healing, which is why the early result may look fuller than the final outcome.

A Brazilian Butt Lift, or BBL, is a specific application of fat transfer focused on the buttocks. Fat is harvested from donor areas through liposuction, purified, and then injected into the buttocks and, in some cases, the hips, to build volume, improve shape, and create a more balanced silhouette.
Liposuction may first be used to refine the waist, flanks, lower back, abdomen, or thighs. The harvested fat is then processed and placed into selected areas of the buttocks to improve:
A personalized plan may focus on subtle contour correction, a more defined hourglass shape, or moderate enhancement. The amount that can be transferred safely depends on your anatomy and available tissue, not a predetermined package or trend.
Fat is most often harvested from areas that frequently hold fat that has not responded to diet or exercise.
Common donor areas include:
The best donor sites depend on where sufficient fat is available and which areas would benefit from contouring. More than one donor area may be used to collect enough healthy fat and create a balanced result.
You may be a candidate for fat transfer if you:
A consultation is necessary because candidacy depends on your anatomy, medical history, medications, skin quality, circulation, and treatment goals.
Good BBL candidates generally have sufficient fat in areas such as the abdomen, flanks, back, or thighs and want to improve buttock shape without implants.
Skin tone also matters. Fat can add volume, but it cannot always correct significant loose or hanging skin. Patients with substantial laxity after major weight loss may need a lifting procedure rather than fat transfer alone.
You must also be able to complete the recovery safely. This includes limiting direct pressure on the transferred fat, wearing recommended compression garments, attending follow-up visits, and arranging help during the early healing period.
Fat transfer or BBL may need to be postponed or avoided if you have:
Certain medications and supplements may also affect bleeding, anesthesia, or healing. Do not stop prescribed medication without instructions from the prescribing clinician and your procedural provider.

Recovery varies by treatment area and how much fat was transferred.
For BBL, most patients are asked to avoid sitting or lying directly on the treated area for a period of time, often using a specialized cushion or pillow to redistribute pressure when sitting is unavoidable. Compression garments are commonly worn at the donor site to support healing and manage swelling.
Bruising, swelling, and soreness in both the donor and treatment areas are common in the first one to two weeks. Our team provides specific aftercare instructions based on your procedure and treatment areas.
Professional plastic surgery organizations, including the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, have identified injection depth as the central safety factor in gluteal fat grafting.
Injecting fat into the muscle, rather than the layer just beneath the skin, has been linked to a serious complication called fat embolism, in which fat enters the bloodstream and can travel to the lungs.
Multi-society safety guidance calls for keeping fat injections in the subcutaneous layer, above the gluteal fascia, and recommends real-time ultrasound imaging to help confirm safe placement during the procedure.
No provider should describe BBL as risk-free. A responsible consultation should address the procedure’s known risks, the techniques used to reduce them, the emergency plan, and whether the potential benefit is reasonable for your anatomy.
N2U Aesthetics takes this seriously and we encourage every patient to ask specific questions about it before moving forward with BBL.
Safety begins before the procedure.
We stay current with safety guidance from professional plastic surgery organizations regarding fat grafting technique, and we review your health history closely before recommending any fat transfer or BBL procedure.
If a treatment area or technique falls outside what we can safely offer for your specific anatomy or goals, we will tell you directly rather than proceed. Safety-related questions are always welcome, before, during, and after your consultation.
Bodies are not templates.
Your anatomy, available donor fat, and goals are unique, which is why we build your fat transfer or BBL plan around what we see during your consultation rather than a standard package applied to every patient.
The cost of fat transfer is determined after an in-person evaluation. Because the procedure is customized, a flat advertised price rarely reflects the full scope of treatment.
Your quote may be affected by:
Your written estimate should clarify what is included so you can evaluate the total cost rather than an incomplete starting price.
Exact pricing depends on your anatomy, the number of areas treated, the volume of fat involved, facility fees, and your provider’s experience. The most accurate price for your goals comes from an in-person consultation with our team.
